When I launched The American Dream in The Eyes of Immigrants, I had no idea how much I would fall in love with podcasting. What started as a passion project quickly turned into an award-winning show listened to in over 100 countries. A few months after starting my podcast, I realized how many people struggle with the beginning aspects of starting a podcast. Mainly, they not knowing where to start and feeling overwhelmed.

I saw a gap—there were either free, scattered resources that left people confused or expensive courses costing over $1,000. I knew there had to be a better way. That’s why I decided to create a podcast course: to provide an affordable, straightforward roadmap that helps people confidently launch their podcast.

The Best Way to Serve New Podcasters

I asked myself, What is the best way to serve my clients and provide them with the most value? After working with individuals one-on-one, I realized that while personalized coaching is great, it limits how many people I can help at once. By creating a course, I could guide more people through the process simultaneously while still giving them all the tools they need to succeed.

A Simple, Straightforward Learning Experience

Many podcast courses overload clients with unnecessary information, making the process feel overwhelming. I wanted to do the opposite—keep it simple, clear, and actionable. That’s why I designed my course with:

  • Straight-to-the-point 10 to 15-minute videos for each module, making it easy to follow and implement.
  • Step-by-step guidance so clients can move from idea to launched podcast without confusion.
  • A practical approach that focuses only on what truly matters, cutting out the fluff.

Create a Podcast Course Affordable and Accessible

One of the biggest hurdles I noticed was the price. Most podcasting courses I came across were priced at over $1,000, making them inaccessible for many aspiring podcasters. Actually, I was even told I could sell this course for over $10,000! I was baffled! I didn’t want money to be why someone couldn’t start their podcast.

That’s why I made my course super affordable. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to share their voice, and the finances shouldn’t stand in the way.

The Power of an Easy-to-Use Platform

I also wanted to ensure the course was hosted on a user-friendly platform for both me and my clients. That’s where Stan Store came in—it made it incredibly easy to put everything together, organize the lessons, and give clients an easy-to-navigate learning experience.

A Course Designed for Success

My 6-week podcast course covers everything from developing a concept and recording episodes to marketing and monetization. It’s structured to ensure clients walk away with a fully launched podcast by the end of the program. I provide:

  • A step-by-step launch plan so clients can go from idea to published podcast.
  • Guidance on equipment and software to make the process budget-friendly and stress-free.
  • Marketing strategies to grow an audience and gain visibility.
  • Monetization tips for those who want to turn their podcast into an income stream.

I designed this course to be more than just information—it’s a guided experience that ensures clients have everything they need to succeed.

Final Thoughts to Create a Podcast Course

Starting my podcast changed my life in ways I never expected, and I’ve shared about this before. It gave me a platform to amplify immigrants’ stories, connect with incredible people, and build a community around a mission I deeply care about. Now, I want to help others experience the same joy and fulfillment that comes with launching a podcast.

If you’ve been dreaming about starting a podcast but don’t know where to begin, this course was created for you. Let me help you skip the confusion and create a podcast you’re proud of!

With Love, Heidy
