About Vanessa
She is a wife, mother, children’s minister, author, and speaker. She enjoys equipping families with Bible resources that are fun and simple for children to help them live out their faith at home. Vanessa believes that the primary spiritual leaders for the family are the parents.
For the past 19 years, she has served in camping, children, and youth ministry. She’s been blogging since 2013, and she started her blog for leaders of Children’s Ministry but has now focused on family.
She is the author of Breakfast with Jesus: 100 Devotions for Kids about the Life of Jesus, Adventures: An Advent Devotional for Women, and Rise Up: Choosing Faith over Fear in Christian Ministry.
About The Bible Food Truck
This devotional for children will take you through the entire Bible. The children will learn stories about food, drink, and fasting. It focuses on how food plays a major role in many of the favorite Bible stories. As the kids go through the book there are fun opportunities to create their own food truck!
Each devotional has the “Faith to-go” section, a scripture verse, and a prayer.
I received my copy of The Bible Food Truck, and I love the “Faith to-go” section of the devotional, where it gives the kids an activity to do for the day.
This devotional is perfect for dinner time or before the kids head off to school. My daughter and I enjoy reading the devotionals and doing the activities when she comes home from school.
