Ranjeet is a coach and mentor who guides professionals into achieving their American Dream by obtaining an EB1-A green card (aka Einstein visa) just like he did. He grew up with a journalist mother and a banker father in India. They valued education a great deal, which fueled his passion for learning.

Ranjeet came to the US to complete his second master’s degree, so he has one master’s degree in India and another here. Listen in as he talks about adapting to living in the US after moving in his 40s and how he helps professionals navigate the EB1A green card process.

Growing Up in India

Ranjeet’s upbringing was shaped by his parents’ professions—his mother was a journalist, and his father was a banker. With a strong emphasis on education and excellence, he moved frequently due to his father’s job, studying in various cities across India, including Mumbai, Pune, Jammu, and Allahabad. This exposure to different cultures and perspectives played a crucial role in shaping his outlook on life and career.

Moving to the United States on the EB1-A Visa

After establishing a successful career in India—where he became a director general and dean at just 24 years of age and later the CEO of the Financial Planning Standards Board at 28—Ranjeet sought new challenges. He saw the U.S. not as a foreign land but as an extension of the opportunities he had already been pursuing. However, moving at an older age, past 40, presented its own adjustments.

To better understand his new environment, he pursued a master’s degree in the U.S. during the COVID-19 pandemic, his second master’s overall. This allowed him to immerse himself in American culture and gain insights into its educational and professional landscape.

Helping Others Achieve Their American Dream Through EB1-A

Ranjeet discovered the EB1-A visa, a green card based on extraordinary ability. Unlike other visa options that require sponsorship from an employer or family member, the EB1-A allows individuals to self-petition based on their achievements.

Recognizing the struggles many professionals face with visa restrictions—such as being unable to change jobs, start businesses, or invest in opportunities—Ranjeet developed a transformation coaching program. His goal is to help others become the best version of themselves, with the EB1-A green card as a result of their personal and professional success.
