Life Is Short

Life Is Short – random thoughts from last month for the current season of life.

We are alive, and because of this, we know for sure that one day we will expire. The thing is, no one ever knows when or how that will be. We make many plans in our lives. Plans for tomorrow, plans for next week, next month, next year, even years in advance, but we don’t know if we will be alive to see those plans completed.

We don’t know how long our loved ones have left either, or even our children. Will we go before our children, like it’s supposed to be, or will we have to go through the tragedy of being alive without one of our kids? Of course, we don’t think about these things until they happen or until it happens to someone, we know, but it does happen because death is the only guarantee in life.

We hear all the time to live every day like your last or cherish every moment because life is short. And it truly is; life is short because we don’t know when our time will come. And once that time comes for us to expire, that’s it.

Love hard, forgive quickly, live every day like it’s your last. Tell your loved ones that you love them and make sure to do what makes you happy. Do not live life with regret. We shouldn’t live life with, “I should have done this” or “I wish I could have done that.” Make an effort to do what you want to do and see the places you want to see. The memories are all you take with you once your time comes. All material things, those stay here on Earth. Remember that God loves you, and family is important.

With Love,

Heidy

This is a nice sweet reminder, I loved this! People can become too busy or they take things for granted. We really need to slow down and take a moment to be grateful.
